ABOUT BEX
Music with a pulse of hope
BEX Galaxy is the expansive creative realm of Rebecca Madamba, a Toronto-based Filipina-Canadian artist known for turning deep, honest emotions into catchy, melodic anthems. Her unique sound fuses the raw vulnerability of contemporary indie-pop with the high-energy defiance of early 2000s pop-punk. To many, her work serves as a guiding light, offering comfort and clarity through the unpredictable twists of life.
Outside of her music, BEX is an accomplished visual story teller who produces her own stylized music videos and art direction for herself and other indie artists. She remains steadfast in her commitment to building an inclusive community where her audience is empowered to embrace their true worth and find the courage to share their own narratives.
Affirmation Anthems
Meet D1DO & BEX, the Canadian music duo behind #AFFiRMATiONanthems — a movement blending uplifting, high-energy music, positive affirmations, and immersive #IRL experiences to inspire self-love, confidence and connection.
From universities and fashion shows to high schools and live television, the movement uses music as a catalyst for positive change.
